Service Technician – Sterling, IL
- Accurately diagnose, repair and maintain equipment and accessories in optimum operating condition within manufacturers published electrical, mechanical, and copy quality specifications.
- Aid fellow technicians when required to maintain optimum response time and customer satisfaction.
- Complete required paperwork neatly, accurately and on time.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems in a timely fashion.
- Ability to navigate and utilize internet and manufacturer resources.
- Ability to manage service call load to attain a 4-hour response time and 8-hour fix time upon notification of parts arrival.
- Ability to maintain a personal parts inventory in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide updates of service calls upon completion or incompletion of each call to the call support center.
- Ability to complete a minimum of 5 service calls in an 8 hours period including travel.
- 1 year of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing printers and/or copiers.
- Working knowledge of multiple operating systems including Microsoft, Apple, and Google.
- Mechanical comprehension, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate time management skills to handle work load
- Ability to manage one or multiple projects simultaneously
- High School Diploma, or equivalent trade or military background.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
