Core Room Operator: Montgomery, Illinois

Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is a long-standing, well-respected manufacturer known for producing high-quality metal components for a variety of industries. They are looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Core Room Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities of the Core Room Operator:

Set up and operate large-scale bench machines used for machining metal parts and components.
Ensure consistent production of high-precision cores according to specifications.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout all operations.
Monitor equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Core Room Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

Must wear steel-toed shoes.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Basic math skills and ability to read measuring tools.
Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay for Core Room Operator: $20.00/hour
